Square Books Jr. Storytime
Wednesdays at 10am
Join Ms. Jill for storytime and sing-along while she plays her guitar. There's also some fun toys for the kids to play with.
Note: This activity also takes place each Saturday at 10am.
Evening Park Playdate
Each Wednesday evening at 5:30pm

Wastewater Treatment Plant Tour

Directions: Take Hwy 7 South 4 miles past Popeye's. The treatment plant is located through a gate on the left just across from Chevron and the Uhaul trucks. If you get to the bridge, you've missed the turn.
Free Indoor Activity Fridays at OPC
Each Friday from 10am-noon
The Oxford Park Commission is offering a free activity day each Friday for boys and girls ages 1-5 in the beginner level gymnastics room. Parents must present a photo ID.
The Activity Center is located at the corner of Molly Barr Rd and Price St.
26th Annual Haunted Forest & GOBLIN'S EGG HUNT
The Oxford Park Commission along with the University of Mississippi Park and Recreation Management Association will host the Annual Haunted Forest. This year’s event will be held October 29-30, at Avent Park (104 Park Drive Oxford, MS).
The Haunted Forest will begin at 7:00pm nightly ending at 10:00pm. Admission is $4.00, and adults must accompany children under 10. The Goblin’s Egg Hunt will be October 30 at 6:00pm sharp on the Ball Field at Avent Park. The Hunt is for children ages 4-8, must be in costume, and DON’T FORGET TO BRING BASKETS.
Mini Masters at the UM Museum
Tuesday, Oct 28 from 3:45-4:30pm
The theme of this Mini Masters class is "Mythical Creatures". Join us for a fun project inspired by exhibits in the museum.
Mini Masters is an art class geared toward ages 2-5. The cost is $5/family.
Book Club Meeting
Monday, October 27 from 6:30-7:30pm

We will be reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. We'll be meeting at Caren's.

Monthly La Leche Meetings
This event takes place the last Thursday of each month at 10:30am in the public library's upstairs meeting room. This is a family-friendly gathering, so siblings and/or dads are welcome to come.

Babies and Books: A Baby Book Club
Babies and Books is a program that meets monthly. The next meeting will be November 4 at 10:30am in the Public Library.
The Baby Book Club is for and led by parents/ caregivers with babies who range from 6 months to 2 years old. We'll read books, learn songs, and play games that promote early literacy.
